“Teaching Warriors to Walk The Path”
Directors:
- Kenneth Brayboy, Christian Education Director
- Daniel Mains, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent
The mission of the Redeemed Assembly International Church Sunday School
Department, is to help set the foundation for life long learning of God’s
word and His purpose for you life. We read in Ephesians 4:12, “to
prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of
Christ may be built up.” As one of the five fold ministry, it’s
vastly important to understand God’s purpose of a teacher. In the
Old Testament, God instructs the people of Israel; “Only be careful,
and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your
eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live.
Teach them to your children and to their children after them.” We
strive to develop disciples of our members, as we show the correlation
between Sunday school and worship services.
We believe children are not only the church of tomorrow, but of today
also. Our classes help to develop the morals and values of our future
church and industry leaders. At the same time, adults are encouraged
to attend Sunday school to build a greater knowledge of God’s word
and enjoy the fellowship. We truly believe in the concept; “A Family
that prays together, stays together.”
Redeemed Assembly International church incorporates Sunday school classes
from nursery to Senior Adults. Our kindergarten to high school class,
along with the Senior Adult class, us a single teacher and teacher assistant
for each class level. Our young Adult and Meddler Adult use a rotating
teacher schedule every two Sundays. Members are given a taste of various
teaching styles and enthusiasm. These minister teachers are given a chance
to become familiar with being in front a larger and captivating audience.
Every Sunday school class uses a curriculum from Gospel Publishing House.
Sunday school hours are 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
